Instantaneous energy and undeniable passion were the result of the coming together of six musicians to form a new and versatile Stage Band name MP Band. Music lover, producer and keyboard player Hugh Campbell had long envisioned a group providing solid vocals and talented musicians.  His love of music and desire for professionalism led him to create a band, and so in 2018 the MP Band was discovered.  Campbell met the band members over a three-year period and was exposed to their talent through a number of projects and shows.  He invited them for a rehearsal and the group proved to be electric.  Vocals and musicians blended well, whether it was a Gospel Roots Reggae, a soulful Praise & Worship or an Up-tempo Ska, the team flowed. It was clear the band would be able to provide top quality music adding to a professional event, such as, concerts, gospel festivals and the like. The group has a combined total of over 45 years experience under their belt. Members of the band have played for renowned groups such as the Grace Thrillers, Lieutenant Stitchie, Judith Gayle, Keesa Peart, Sandra Brooks, DJ Nicholas, Marvia Providence, Claudelle Clarke, Positive, Jabez just to name a few. They have performed in the United States, Europe as well as the Caribbean Islands. They have performed at major festivals including the Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, Georgia Jerk Festival, Atlanta Bless among others and now that energy is professionally packaged in one, the MP Band.
